CYR qualified four boats to youth nationals which was one of the most by any team in the state and the 2nd year in a row CYR has done so! We finished off the national championship with the highest CYR overall team performance with all Four boats finishing in the Top 20, Three in the Top 15! Our womens 2- finished 6th in the nation which us a record for highest female boat for CYR.

Not only did we compete to the best of our ability and had a blast doing so! We had 5 CYR team members, including 1 alumni travel all the way to Sarasota, FL to cheer on the athletes competing! Speaks to our team culture and the love we have for the sport and each other.
We focus on loving the process, hard work, and doing all the little things right. When that is done, the results follow! This is CYR!
For the second year in a row CYR is sending four boats to nationals! All boats had to place 4th or higher in our SE Regionals Qualifying event. This is the second year in a row we are send a womens straight four and the first time in history CYR is sending pairs!

Fall Season runs from Mid-August to Early November. Fall Season, otherwise known as Head Racing Season consists of 5000m or 6000m races. Training in the fall is longer conditioning, technique, and lots of fun.
The time to get fit and do it together. During the winter months we use the ergometer (erg) concept 2 machine. As a competitive team this is the time we put in the work that pays off in the spring.

Spring Season runs through Mid February to Early June. Spring Seasons consists of 2000m races. This is the competitive season which we work towards speed. We love to go fast together!
